Trek Everest Travel Writing Workshop
A joint partnership with World Expeditions and MatadorU – a 23 day Everest Trek combined with a travel writing workshop.
Travelers will have the unique opportunity to speak with Robin Esrock for tips on how to get their stories maximum exposure.
During and after the trip participants will be invited to blog and write about their fantastic experience. After the trek, the best blogger will win their next World Expeditions adventure – A trek on the Classic Inca Trail.

About The Trip
This trek is designed to fulfill the dream of many people of experiencing the historic route to the base of the world’s highest mountain.
Our carefully devised itinerary provides a fine opportunity to visit both Base Camp and the nearby peak of Kala Pattar (5545m) for uninterrupted views of Mt Everest.
We trek the more remote trails along the far side of the Khumbu valley, savouring the high mountain views from our selected campsites in the company of our Sherpa guides, whose knowledge and passion for trekking in the Khumbu add a further dimension to this memorable trek.

| DAYS 4/5 | Fly to Lukla, commence trek through Sherpa villages |
| DAYS 6/7 | Arrive Namche Bazaar, rest and acclimatise DAY 8 Trek to visit Thyangboche Monastery |
| DAYS 9/11 | Slowly ascend through villages and yak pastures to Khumbu Glacier |
| DAY 12 | Ascend Kala Pattar (5545m) to gain uninterrupted views of Everest (8848m) |
| DAY 13 | to Everest Base Camp |
| DAYS 14/16 | Trek via Khunde and Khumjung, visit Himalayan Trust projects |
| DAYS 17/18 | Return trek to Lukla |
