Why were your interested in the travel writing or travel photography program?

I love traveling and have always been a fan of travel and lifestyle based tv shows and magazines. I have always kept a rough diary of my trips, and I wanted to start writing professionally for magazines, websites, newspapers, etc. So that’s why I decided to take up a travel writing course.

What convinced you to enroll in the program?

The format of the course (12 chapters) was what attracted me to the course. Plus I spoke to an ex student of the course from India (Reeti Roy), who was all praises of the course. Also, being able to be a part of the U even after the course is over is what finally convinced me to go ahead and enroll.

What are the most valuable lessons you have learned in the U so far?

My experience so far in the U has been awesome, and everyone is very helpful. I can see my writing improve after each chapter. The most valuable lesson that I have learned so far is from chapter 4, about how to use one trip to write more than 1 piece about the trip, using different ‘hooks’.
