Scholarships

At MatadorU, we’ve developed comprehensive courses to advance your travel writing and travel photography skills. We believe it’s worth tremendous value. At the same time, we understand that some potential students lack the resources to enroll.

For this reason, we offer MatadorU scholarships to students with financial need.

This scholarship is only intended for people who genuinely lack the funds to register on their own.

We call for applications four times per year: Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. The number of scholarships offered varies depending on the applications. If you have previously submitted, you are welcome to submit to the next cycle.

How It Works

All applicants must complete the application process to demonstrate their eligibility.

Who Can Apply

Potential students who genuinely lack the funds to pursue their dream of travel writing or travel photography. (This means if you still have enough money for beer, you don’t need the scholarship).

Applicants must also show their writing potential through previous work (published or unpublished).
