Workshop: Photography Portfolio Reviews
Overview: Travel photographers looking to have their portfolios professionally reviewed and critiqued will have access to MatadorU faculty and/or guest travel photographers. 20 photos per portfolio review. Detailed review comments covering technical specifications, composition, technique, and other elements will be provided as a PDF deliverable.
Course size: Individual session with facilitator
Pre-requisites: None, but it is strongly recommended that participants have completed the MatadorU travel photography course.

About the Instructors
Lola (Akinmade) Åkerström
Lola (Akinmade) Åkerström edits Matador Goods. She’s a writer and photographer whose publication credits include National Geographic Traveler, BBC, Vogue, Fodors.com, Forbes Traveler, San Francisco Chronicle, United Airlines’ Hemispheres, Sherman’s Travel, Heart & Soul, and many more. She also photographs for Sweden’s official site, Sweden.se. Her travel photography has received numerous accolades and has also been used by various NGOs around the world . She also contributes as a photojournalist with organizations such as the International Red Cross. She is based in Stockholm, Sweden and blogs at Geotraveler’s Niche.
Paul Sullivan
Paul Sullivan is a freelance writer, author and photographer covering music, travel and culture. His work has been published in The Guardian, The Independent, Intelligent Life, National Geographic Music and more, and he has written/photographed several guidebooks for Time Out, HG2, Cool Camping and others.
