Workshop: Pushing Photography’s Limits
Overview: When is a photo more than a photo? When it’s an HDR photo, or when it’s a photo contextualized and delivered via a unique platform, such as a soundslide presentation. In this four-week workshop delivered via Skype, students will learn cutting edge techniques and technologies for experimenting with the limits of DSLR photography.
Course size: This course is limited to 8 participants.
Prerequisites: None, but it is strongly recommended that participants have completed the MatadorU travel photography course.

About the Instructors
Richard Stupart
Richard completed a four year degree in Computer Science before spending six years working as a web developer, specifically focussing on open source systems, including the popular WordPress blogging platform. Currently part-way through a Master degree in media studies, following on a journalism diploma, Richard has experience both in technical aspects of creating/modifying/souping up blogs and we applications as well as a deep familiarity with writing, producing and promoting content for them – including a specific focus on digital photography and photojournalism. Putting his keystrokes where his mouth is, Richard’s personal blog at www.wheretheroadgoes.com, is entirely self-programmed and maintained, with every image and piece of writing produced from scratch.
